Why we started. The search got in the way.

I qualified as a ski instructor in Banff, then spent years building travel products at Expedia. Between the two, I learned what makes a mountain trip memorable, and what makes finding one so hard. The ski market is split across dozens of companies, each showing only its own properties. Finding the right place to stay should not take longer than choosing where to ski.

Do I pay more than booking direct?
No. You pay the same price as booking with the property directly. There are no booking fees and no mark-ups, and enquiring is free.
So how does Powder Edition make money?
The properties we work with pay us a fee when a booking goes ahead, the same way a traditional ski agent is paid. It comes from their side and is never added to your price.
Who is my booking with?
With the property. We work with a small group of trusted partners who own and manage the homes we list, and we make sure you get the best available rate.
