How does Powder Edition complement our direct channel?
Powder Edition focuses on guests who are still deciding where and what to book, then introduces properties that match their brief. Listings are non-exclusive, we do not price below direct rates, and commission applies only to bookings sourced through Powder Edition. You keep your direct channel and decide how enquiries enter your sales process.
How do you decide which properties to recommend?
Fit comes first, with a human involved. Our team reviews the guest's dates, group, budget, preferred service, resort needs, ski access, and accommodation priorities alongside current property information and availability. We recommend a focused shortlist because it suits the brief, not because it is discounted.
What does it cost?
There is no listing fee or upfront setup cost. Commission applies only to confirmed bookings sourced through Powder Edition, under commercial terms agreed before launch in a short listing agreement.
Do we have to manage the listing ourselves?
No. That part is optional. We can create and maintain the listing from your existing website or portfolio, you can manage it yourself in the partner portal, or you can mix the two and send us whatever you would rather not do. Either way, you remain in control of rates, availability, and how enquiries are handled.
How much control do we have over the listing content?
Full control, without going through us. The partner portal shows every listing you have on Powder Edition, and you can edit descriptions, photos, amenities, bedrooms, and service details yourself. There is no approval queue and no waiting on our team. A listing stays unpublished until you choose to publish it, and you can unpublish at any time to take it off the site. Publishing asks that the essentials are in place: name, property type, resort, map location, description, guest and room counts, and at least five photos. We hold a high bar on photography, because it is the strongest signal a guest has and the standard protects everyone already listed.
How do pricing and availability work?
Pricing and availability remain partner-set. We support multi-currency pricing and can work from current weekly rates, seasonal rates, minimum-stay rules, live calendars, or manual updates.
Who handles guest enquiries?
Powder Edition handles the initial conversation. The property assistant can answer immediate factual questions, but booking enquiries are reviewed by our team. We look at dates, budget, group makeup, service expectations, and must-haves, ask useful follow-up questions, and recommend the properties that genuinely fit. We then hand the enquiry over through your agreed process and work with you to convert the right client.
What kinds of properties do you accept?
Premium ski chalets, apartments, lodges, and hotels in established mountain destinations, from multi-property operators to boutique brands and professionally managed independent homes. What matters is strong photography, reliable operations, and clear service details.
What do you need from us to get started?
Often, very little. A website or portfolio link is usually enough for us to build your listings. From there, we just need the best enquiries contact and a clear way to keep rates and availability current. You can manage updates in the portal or simply send them to us.
