The Resort
The skiing directly above the village on the Piz Sorega plateau is characterized by wide, sunny, and perfectly groomed blue and red runs, making it an absolute paradise for intermediates, cruisers, and families. The sweeping, tree-lined descents offer confidence-building terrain coupled with awe-inspiring views of the dramatic limestone peaks of the surrounding UNESCO World Heritage site.
Beyond the local slopes, San Cassiano offers seamless connectivity to the vast 130km Alta Badia ski area and the monumental 1,200km Dolomiti Superski network. Skiers can easily embark on the legendary Sella Ronda circuit or experience the spectacular Armentarola run from Lagazuoi, ending with a famous horse-drawn ski tow back toward the village.
