Chalet Genevieve sits on the south-facing side of Morzine's valley, giving it good light and open views towards the Pleney ski area. A bus stop is one minute on foot from the front door, making it straightforward to reach the lifts without a car. The Super Morzine gondola — the main access point for Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil circuit — is 12 minutes downhill on foot or eight minutes by car. The Pleney gondola, serving the Morzine–Les Gets ski area, is a six-minute drive. Morzine's main high street, with its concentration of restaurants, bars, cafés and ski shops, is around 15 minutes on foot or four minutes by car. It is a well-connected position that suits groups who want flexibility between driving and walking.
