Chalet Heritage sits in Pessey, a small hamlet in the Valtournenche valley, directly on slope No. 1 Reine Blanche. Guests can join the slope from the chalet and ski into the Valtournenche-Cervinia area. On request, the chalet can arrange a bus transfer to the Cime Bianche Valtournenche gondola, which takes around eight minutes. The village of Valtournenche, with restaurants, bars, ski hire shops, and a sports centre, is a seven-minute drive. Breuil-Cervinia itself is a further 10km up the valley, approximately 18 minutes by car. The chalet is conveniently accessible from Milan and Geneva airports, with airport transfers available on request at extra cost. The location suits those who want quieter surroundings and a genuine alpine village atmosphere, while still having efficient access to one of Europe’s largest ski areas.

High-altitude skiing with iconic Matterhorn views and endless cruisy pistes.
Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche sit on the Italian side of the iconic Matterhorn (Monte Cervino), offering some of the highest and most snow-sure skiing in Europe. Characterized by wide, sun-drenched, and gentle slopes, it is an absolute paradise for intermediates and beginners looking to cruise for miles. The resort village of Cervinia was built prioritizing slope access and high-altitude reliability over traditional alpine charm, though recent developments have added plenty of upscale lodging and fine dining options. The area boasts an incredible international link to Zermatt in Switzerland, creating a massive 360km ski domain known as the Matterhorn Ski Paradise. Skiers can ride the lifts up to the Klein Matterhorn at a dizzying 3,883 meters and enjoy one of the world's longest descents—a legendary 22km run sweeping all the way down to Valtournenche. With its exceptional altitude and glacial terrain, Cervinia guarantees a long season stretching from autumn well into spring.
Cervinia is famous for its wide, flattering, and sunny pistes that are perfect for intermediate cruisers and confident beginners building their skills. The vast terrain links seamlessly with Zermatt, offering dramatic glacier skiing and epic, thigh-burning descents like the uninterrupted 22km run from Klein Matterhorn to Valtournenche.
