Chalet Zaza sits on the hillside above Morzine, looking out over the valley towards the opposite ridgeline. Two lift systems are within easy reach: the Super Morzine cable car — gateway to Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil network — is seven minutes by car or a 16-minute walk via the pedestrian suspension bridge. The Pléney gondola, serving the Morzine and Les Gets ski area, is also seven minutes by car in the other direction and is where the main Morzine ski school meets. Morzine's town centre, with its concentration of restaurants, bars and ski shops, is around a 20-minute walk down through the valley. The traditional village of Montriond, with its own selection of bars and restaurants, is just a one-minute drive or ten-minute walk in the opposite direction.
