Grande Maison sits in the centre of Montriond village, a quieter alternative to the main Morzine resort, with a handful of bars, restaurants, and shops immediately outside the front door. Central Morzine — with its broader range of dining, après-ski, and retail — is an eight-minute drive away. For skiing, the Pleney gondola serving the Morzine–Les Gets sector is a seven-minute chauffeured drive from the chalet. Heading in the opposite direction, the Ardent gondola is ten minutes up the valley and provides access to Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil network connecting France and Switzerland. The Super Morzine gondola in central Morzine offers a third lift entry point. The variety of access routes means the chalet works well for groups with differing ability levels or itineraries.
