Saas Fee is one of the Alps' few entirely car-free resorts, which makes central positioning genuinely useful rather than merely convenient on paper. Haus Jessica sits in the heart of the village, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the main lift network. The nursery slopes and their ski lockers and heated boot racks are a six-minute walk away — a meaningful detail for families with young children. The resort sits at 1,800 metres with glacier skiing extending to 3,600 metres, providing reliable snow cover throughout the season. The nearest major airport is Zurich, approximately three hours by road or rail, with Geneva around three and a half hours. Transfers can be arranged to the resort perimeter car park, from which a short electric taxi or on-foot arrival completes the journey.

The Pearl of the Alps, surrounded by spectacular 4,000m peaks
Saas-Fee, famously known as the 'Pearl of the Alps,' is a deeply traditional, car-free Swiss village nestled in a dramatic amphitheater of thirteen 4,000-meter peaks. The village itself retains immense charm with its narrow streets, sun-browned chalets, and quiet electric taxis, offering a more relaxed and authentic alternative to its famous neighbor, Zermatt. Skiing in Saas-Fee is defined by its impressive altitude and top-tier snow reliability. With slopes reaching up to 3,600m on the Allalin glacier, it boasts a remarkably long season and exceptionally well-groomed runs that strongly favor intermediates and advanced cruisers. While the lower slopes offer a massive, sheltered nursery area perfect for beginners and families, freestyle enthusiasts flock to the glacier for its world-renowned snowpark. The dramatic scenery, high-alpine glaciers, and reliable snowpack make Saas-Fee a spectacular destination for a classic Swiss winter holiday.
The skiing is highly snow-sure thanks to the glacier, offering long, sweeping red runs that are ideal for intermediates and advanced carvers. Beginners have access to a fantastic, expansive nursery area right at the edge of the village, while freestylers can enjoy a world-class park.
Located in southwestern Switzerland, the Valais region is famous for its dramatic, towering peaks and offers some of the highest and most snow-sure skiing in Europe.
A sunny bowl offering fantastic, wide-open red runs perfect for cruising.
High-altitude skiing with breathtaking views, featuring long, sweeping descents back toward the village.
A vast, gentle learning area conveniently located at the edge of the car-free village.
Steeper, more challenging terrain on the right side of the valley, historically used for FIS races.
