Hermitage Mountain Lodge sits above El Tarter village on the Grandvalira ski area — one of the largest ski domains in the Pyrenees. The El Tarter chairlift is 450 metres from the lodge, connecting directly into the full ski area. At day's end, the Gall De Bosc piste — graded beginner to intermediate — returns skiers straight to the chalet door. El Tarter village at the base of the slopes has bars, restaurants, and ski hire shops within easy reach. Soldeu, a livelier village with a broader selection of dining and après-ski options, is a seven-minute drive away and is also where you'll find the Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa, included with your stay. The route through Soldeu village passes several cafés and restaurants along the way.
