Rooms face the front side of the Silver Star ski area and the Monashee Mountains, providing unobstructed views of the terrain directly outside. Shared facilities are well-considered: a 24-seat private theatre, fitness room, family lounge, heated underground parking, ski lockers, and a dedicated wax room cover most practical needs without guests needing to leave the building. A hot tub, spa, bar, and kitchen facilities round out the on-site offering. SilverStar Mountain Resort sits in the Monashee Mountains of British Columbia's Okanagan Highlands, approximately 22 kilometres from Vernon and around a four-and-a-half-hour drive from Vancouver. The resort operates across two distinct mountain faces, with Snowbird Lodge positioned at the slopeside edge of the village — placing guests within steps of the lifts on the front side of the mountain. The village itself is compact and walkable, with ski-back access directly to the lodge at the end of the day. SilverStar's Victorian-themed village centre, with its restaurants, ski hire, and retail, is immediately accessible on foot, making car use largely unnecessary once you've arrived.
