About the Resort
Peisey–Nancroix is a cluster of traditional Savoyard hamlets within the Peisey–Vallandry sector of the vast Paradiski area. The resort spans Peisey village (1,300 m), Plan-Peisey (1,650 m), Vallandry (1,600 m), and the original village of Nancroix—each preserving a genuinely French Alpine feel with classic chalets and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Set in the Tarentaise Valley at the southern edge of Les Arcs, it sits perfectly between Les Arcs and La Plagne, with direct access to the iconic Vanoise Express cable car. Expect beautiful tree-lined pistes, welcoming beginner zones, and varied terrain from gentle nursery slopes to serious off-piste—all with a quieter, more intimate vibe than the larger hubs nearby. With over 70% of Paradiski above 2,000 m and two skiable glaciers, snow is reliable from December into late April.
On the Mountain
Peisey–Vallandry is superb for all abilities, with an approximate mix of 13% green, 43% blue, 27% red, 17% black. It's known for calm, larch-lined pistes, confidence-building progression areas, and access to high-altitude glacier slopes. Intermediates get a vast playground of flowing blues and reds; advanced skiers can tackle challenging blacks, the legendary Aiguille Rouge descent (2,026m vertical), and extensive off-piste including excellent tree skiing.
Paradiski (Les Arcs + La Plagne)
Paradiski is one of the world's largest linked areas (1,200–3,250m), uniting Les Arcs, Peisey–Vallandry, and La Plagne via the double-decker Vanoise Express. With 70% of terrain above 2,000m and two glaciers, it offers varied landscapes and big-mountain views of Mont Blanc.
