Tignes (Les Brevieres)

Tignes Les Brévières is the picturesque, traditional heart of the expansive Tignes-Val d'Isère ski area. Nestled at 1,550 meters below the impressive Chevril Dam, it stands in stark contrast to the purpose-built upper villages with its classic Savoyard architecture, traditional wooden chalets, and winding streets. It offers a cozy, authentic atmosphere while providing direct gondola access to one of the world's most renowned ski domains. Despite its lower altitude, the village boasts excellent snowmaking, ensuring ski-in access throughout most of the season.
