About the Resort
Breuil-Cervinia is one of Italy's highest and most snow-sure ski resorts, sitting at an impressive 2,050m at the base of the spectacular Monte Cervino (the Matterhorn). Unlike its Swiss neighbor Zermatt, Cervinia is famous for its wide, sun-drenched, and wonderfully forgiving slopes that make it a true intermediate skier's paradise. The resort town itself blends purpose-built convenience with a relaxed Italian charm, offering superb local gastronomy at a fraction of the cost of its Swiss counterpart.
The Resort
The undeniable draw is the seamless cross-border connection to Zermatt and neighboring Valtournenche, creating the massive Matterhorn Ski Paradise with 360km of pistes. Skiers can enjoy an espresso in Italy, cruise over the high-altitude glacier for a Swiss fondue lunch, and carve back down the legendary 8km Ventina run as the sun sets. With glacier access allowing for a season that stretches from November to May, Cervinia guarantees snow coverage when many other resorts cannot.
On the Mountain
Cervinia offers a sprawling network of long, perfectly groomed blue and red runs that are ideal for building confidence and high-speed cruising. For steeper challenges, mogul fields, and world-class off-piste terrain, skiers can seamlessly cross the border to explore Zermatt.
Aosta Valley / Matterhorn Ski Paradise
Located in northwestern Italy, this high-altitude region shares the iconic Matterhorn with Switzerland, offering massive vertical drops and year-round glacier skiing.
